Hi Duracell Bunny!

Everyone here's pretty friendly unless someone's gone and nicked Hobbit's hobnobs again. ;)

LOL...... They wouldn't dare! (The Hounds of Hobbit, who live here at Hobbit Towers, are ALWAYS hungry for more... :) )

Welcome all, by the way. (Nice to see some oldies back, too.)

It's been a while since I've had chance to pop in and say Hello, but in case you haven't realised, we're glad you're here.

Hi.

I meandered over here thanks to a few people and thought I'd finally join. My name is Jenn, I'm a recently graduated science dork who's got a thing for SF and Fantasy.

:)

Hi Jenn. Luke here. This place has a lot more members than dead cities, and therefore, the range of views expressed and the personalities are a lot more varied, which makes it, in some ways, both a more frustrating experience and a more edifying experience posting here. Things occasionally get banal, but most of the time it's pretty interesting and worthwhile. Drag Scott here. I'd love to see him pull some of his moves around here.

Hello;
I've been digging through all these message boards for a couple of days, so I guess I should intro myself.
I'm a mid aged, balding (bummer) guy with a file cabinet full of stories I wrote before I learned that many write, few are published. So I just enjoy them myself (and occasionally pull them out, rewrite them, and enjoy them all over again).
I like good movies and good books and drive my kids nuts by listening to a different type of music every day.
My favorite color is grey, and if I were a tree I'd be . . . well, quieter.
There's lots more, but only the first hit is free. (-;~
(By the way, the name, it used to me my phone number.)

Heylo, B5. Welcome here. Hope you have a nice time around. :)

Same goes for Jenn. :D

Welcome to all our newcomers....Guipago and B5 especially, hope you enjoy yourselves here!

Mr. Pants (or can I call you Beard?)
Sorry, I'm from the Southwest, home of dry sarcasm.
I enjoyed Babylon 5, and I hate to say it, but I liked it better after they replaced the commander who went to the "Adam West school of acting". I appreciate stories that go beyond the 'we're the good guys and they're the bad guys so let's murder them.' train of thought, and Babylon had a few of those episodes.
The F/X were pretty good too.

You may call me Ms. Pants, thank-you-very-much! ;) I took a while to adjust to Sinclair's departure, but Sheridan won me over eventually, now he's my favourite character! :D

Hi folks, I've visited a time or two before but just as soon as I found this site, I got orders to deploy for six months. I'm a US Air Force medical officer by profession but my heart is in books, bookstores, authors, and that other stuff that seems to get talked about here.

I was born in the South West US and still profer the Mountain West states to other places I've been stationed, including Mississippi, California, New Jersey, and Texas. I am enjoying my current assignment in Germany, however.

As for reading tastes, I'm very eclectic, reading just about all fictional genres, and many factual as well, particularly history. Yes, I like dragons, and fantasy and sci-fi are at the top of my favorites list. But I also love mysteries, historical novels, and just about anything that could be described as a good adventure.

Pardon me for a minute while I take my foot out of my big mouth.  :( :p
I liked the story lines with the telepaths, something which should be an advantage, but it seemed to cause an awful lot of trouble.

Also, greetings TopDragon, do you happen to know a C-130 mechanic named Mike? He would be my brother in law.

Mike? No, can't say I know him...but I'm sure he's a good guy. I do know a Phil, though. I suppose that doesn't help you much.
