Hey anyone want to be penpals or e-pals?

Anyone here read Australian fic? But of course, ironically, my favourites are by Terry Pratchett and Robert Jordan! But we've got an aussie author who'd probably kick Harry Potter's teeny butt ^_^ Heheh, i like JK Rowlings' stuff so i should be realistic! But yeah
this guy is just as good. He's got all these artworks and stuff .They gave this cool little promo at my work.

Hes coming out the middle of next year and its a fantasy mixed witha bit o' other things i cant even identify

buti cant wait i am sooo proud of my lil aussie dude. hes got these awesome pictures of what the characters look like and stuff. i mite post a drawing of one the scenes if i can draw, that is....

I'm into (not as much as I used to be) studying the same time peroid. For several years I was active in a group called the Socity for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Officially a non-profit historical research & education group, from the mid 1600 and back. I prefer to call us a bunch of men & women who like to dress up in kilts & tunics and put on armor and bash each other about during the day. At night we sit around the fire & practice our bairding skills & watch the ladies practice their bellydanceing skills and we drink home made spirits and prepare for the next days round of sword fighting. BTW this is a living research. You pick a country & time period & develope a persona of someone who might have lived, but really didn't exist. Then almost every weekend there is an event held. At these events we gather and show of our skills in fighting and our arts & crafts. It's a lot of fun for the entire family.
While active in this group I learned to play several musical insterments, sword fight (both heavy sword & fencing), make swords, knifes, & armor, sew tunics & other types of clothing, and a deeper respect for my ancesters.

I'm doc P. I am an astrophysicist, defrocked so to speak. They can't take your PhD away like they can with priests. But I said my goodbyes to the academic world to dedicate myself to creative projects.
I hope I can correspond constructively and not sound too nerdy.
