Finished reading the 1st Draft of "Goths and Rooks" on eReader. Found that three chapters have only a paragraph or outline. Also a sudden 9 week jump with no explanation between two chapters (it's obvious later). So 231 annotations copied back to PC via Calibre. Also roughly four chapters to write. I enjoyed it and there seemed to be only a couple of minor easily fixed plot holes (someone's sisters at a different school and then they aren't). A monster mentioned as being from 'The Forest of Dean", when obviously came from Austria. Easily fixed!

Added missing chapter to "Goths and Rooks" last night. About a thousand words. I decided Vampires just sunburn easily and will go blind in bright light due to a form of Albinism. They self-heal quickly. Obviously nowadays wear contacts to protect eyes (retina) and give normal looking iris and wear sunscreen, broad brim hats. They always had the hair dye, hence the cheesy looking hair dos.

Short story for one anthology - completed.
The second I have to write has been started - currently working on it. I need to get it finished by the end of July.
Re-read of old WIP in progress. Need to finish this, so I can continue the story.

"Goths and Rooks"
Completed revision 3 (edit in annotations from first proof read).
Now 61,600 words approximately. I'll let it sit for a week or two. I find annotations need to be edited in at once, or I forget what they mean, even though the annotation text file has the context that was highlighed (as well as percentage position in chapter). Re-reading is best left for a while after editing so you get a fresh view?

Completed and self-published my first novel just last week. Science fiction and over 81,000 words.

Discovered I enjoy writing. Visit the cigar store, crack open the laptop, fire up a cigar the size of a Titan missile, two hours and two thousand words later...

I am now 25,000 words into the second in the series. Finishing about a chapter a week.

Good Luck!

Sort of in preparation for my next round of publication I made some minor corrections to my Prosthetic Amalgams books as well as addressing a couple of formatting issues and have Republished both of them at Amazon.

I got a start on what will be my next Poetry Collection and will try to pull that together in the next week or so closely followed by a collection of Prose Poetry/Micro Fiction. I'd love to get them both completed and published by the end of June. Quite doable I think. I may actually find that I have enough material for a second new poetry/prose poetry collection as well.

It has been two years since the last book - Prosthetic Amalgams II and something like four years since the last traditional poetry collection publication.

Here we go, wish me luck! :)

The Supernatural Horror Action Movie that I would want made into a Feature Hollywood movie with a decent budget.

I have finished writing the script on my Laptop which I saved.
I still want the 2 main Heroes to have more than 5 1 liners which is why those need to be added.

This would be a throwback to 80s action movies because 1 liners common for action movies including Cobra, Tango and Cash, The Running Man, 48 Hours, etc.

Similar to Hellraiser the main Villain is undershown.
That's why I'll be creating 3 or 4 scenes involving the main Villain because similar to Darth Maul, Screwface, Top Dollar, Thanos, the 1st Predator, Walter aka The Man in Black, etc a charismatic great Villain that the audience wants to see more of.

It's days like this, when I can safely and joyously say that I'm finally near the end of my first, that I miss this place, lol.
Life's been so crazy. A move to a new house; remodeling of the kitchen; new boss at work; all of this and more has made it difficult to socialize.

But I did manage to get to the end of my cyberpunk WIP. It still needs work of course, but I consider this a Milestone.

Solved issue of missing body in "Artists and Rooks", #10 in Celtic Otherworld. Fits nicely with facts about real rooks.
Book 6 of "Celtic Otherworld" series "Exiles and Rooks" Contents links fixed and now on pre-order for 2nd August 2018. Shouldn't have any remaining typos / mistakes. However a few weeks window left for fresh uploads to Amazon and Smashwords if anything belatedly found.
Probably Corvids Press is switching to Lulu instead of CreateSpace for paperback. Paper edition maybe in the Autumn.
Books #7, #8, #9 might be published in September, October & November.
Likely #10, #11 and #12 in 2019, though #12 might be early 2020 as the story (by internal chronology such as Marion's age) could start in January 2020. They are all meant to be contemporaneous.
I haven't mentioned ECJ, ECHR or Brexit, though they do relate a little to "Goths and Rooks" (#12 in series.)
I have now an outline for #13, "Jewels and Rooks" as well as an Origin book, opening about 5,000 years ago and running up to about 600 AD.About 500BC to 40AD would cover the first years in Magh Meall, the human settled area in the Otherworld. It would be more 50% re-telling of older Irish myths, legends and almost history, from construction of Newgrange till the Synod of Whitby.

1 - poem

but....made progress on getting together a new Poetry Collection, pulled out / put together all the 'potential' poems that may or may not be included. This will be a 'traditional' poetry collection (i.e. not prose poetry/micro fiction - but have one of those next in line for creation/publication)

I finally got a bit more serious about getting a new poetry collection together....gathered the possible poems into a pile/folder a couple of days ago. Sorted them into 'similar' piles (in order to divide the collection up a bit into sections) and got the potential first section (16 poems) together. I think (but no promise) that I've chosen the opening and ending poems of the book. We'll see where it goes from here.
(OMG Did that last bit just sound like Drumpf?:eek:o_O:rolleyes::oops:)
