The Stark Family Revenge List (Spoilers!!)

Tywin? I think he maybe the worst Lannister of the lot. His parenting had to have more than a little to do with how messed up Cersei and Jaime are. As for Tyrion, well, he's probably the best son of the lot and he gets treated like garbage. Tywin strikes me as being one of those shallow perfectionists. The fact that he seems unable to see (or care) past the end of his own nose doesn't speak well for him either. Fact is, I hate people like that in real life, so how could I not hate him in a story?

I tell ya what Mithfânion, I'll actually go read the series and then i'll make my reply to your questions.

Kay, so I finished the book last night and I guess I have to withdraw my Jon Arryn comment, having spoken too soon. I swear I'm becoming positively hasty!! That was a sweet ending. Still, being absolved of Jon Arryn's death hardly wipes the Lannister slate clean. I can't wait for Feast of Crows!

I read a GRRM interview - got the link off of his official site - where he says Cercie gets a POV in the next book.

Yep, that's true. There's one other POV that he refuses to name, yet.

He's already read a chapter of Cersei btw. In it we learn how terrified she really was and is of Tyrion.

It's funny that the word "Stark" is the name of a language based on Swedish(The word means strong in Swedish) in the book Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card. Just thought you might wanna know.

^^^i thought the stark name was meant to be indicative of the snow of the north. in winter, a "stark" blanket of snow covers the North. just a thought.

getting back to stark revenge...i'm in the middle of COK, and can someone please tell me that Joffrey's gonna die, i want him dead so much. just a yes or no will do, no details please.

Daenerys. I just don't like her. And I agree that there is something sick and twisted about her. I don't need a reason, I just don't like her, period. Ü

Aaahh, Daenarys is my favourity.

The guy I really wanted to suffer is Sir Gregor Clagane.

...and he does suffer in the end. ]:-E

Yeah, but he could come out a hero. The public might feel for him and all he went through while recovering from the vicious poison that the Viper admitted.

Does anyone know when the paperback edition of A Storm of Swords will be released? I have a habit of buying only paperbacks, but I just finished CoK and I need to know what happens...

Aaarrrrgghhh

Ahhh, no, in the UK.

Not sure about the US but it would be a shame if SoS still wasn't available there in PB form.

Anyway, it would be split up in two volumes so take that into account.

I think it said in one of the other threads that the paperback's not coming out in North America until 2003 sometime. Which is precisely why I ended up buying the hardcover. Damned if I was gonna wait that long.
