TV Series or Show You're Watching

I have a free month of Amazon Prime, so I am watching things I otherwise wouldn't have. Like, Bosch, now season 2.

Oh wow, I had no idea there was a series of this. I bought the RPG last year, I love the artwork and feel of it. Thanks for the recommend!

I just started watching Doom Patrol after meaning to get around to it for a while. I like Morrison's work and its fun so far.

I recently was provided access to Netflix, so I began watching Season one of Altered Carbon and in general I’m enjoying it. Seems a bit over the top on excessively graphic sex and violence. The gritty world building is good though. I have yet to read the novel, so I’m unsure how much is from the book, and how much is adaptation. My favorite character so far is Poe, the AI that runs The Raven Hotel. Visually, it is pretty awesome, clearly they worked very hard on the effects and look of the series.
 
Watched the first episode of the new Ghost in the Shell series on Netflix. Looks really good, although now in 3D it seems more like a game. The main issue for some will be the lack of an English dub at the moment - evidently Netflix couldn't finish it before the lockdown. It's a series set after GitS SAC.

Binge-watched season 1 of Schitt’s Creek and have started season 2. Funny show.

I’m also looking forward to a new season of The Last Kingdom, which releases in a few days.
 
Really enjoying Emergence. Great casting, which improved mightily for me when this person appeared:

I've put Breaking Bad on hold. I was skipping scenes too often. Same as last time I tried to rewatch all 5 seasons. I think I prefer Better Call Saul. I might rewatch that instead this summer.

Right now I have resumed watching all seasons of Bosch before my free month of Amazon Prime runs out.

You might enjoy Tales From the Loop while you have free Amazon. It is only eight episodes, and it is so very pretty.

I've been watching the 5th season of the excellent French spy thriller The Bureau (or les bureau des legendes). A bit slower than the previous seasons but ramping it up now in the final few episodes...
 
I am very wary of 'comedy' programmes as SF these days (flashbacks of Hugh Laurie's Avenue 5... *shudder*) but this one was... OK.

Finished the second season of Castle Rock today. Very good. Lizzy Caplan as Annie Wilkes was brilliant - nice to see Tim Robbins again...
 
Give Uplifted a shot if it is on a source open to you... for me, it is an Amazon original via Prime... it has some teeth where it seems the protagonist was killed into this afterlife for some ulterior reason... it gives the show some depth... So Yes It rates as OK for me as well
And yes Avenue 5 was dire
