What games are you playing?

Got my hands on second hand copies of BloodRayne and Max Payne 2 at the weekend.
Both pretty good 3rd person shooters although BloodRayne also has RPG elements as you gain new moves etc as the game progresses. It also gets creepy as Hell on the later levels as you play a sort of female Blade character fighting the Nazis around the late 1930's.

Splitting my time between Deus Ex and Morrowind. I did start X-Wing: Alliance but have been miserably stuck at the sixth mission, so I've put it on the backburner.

I'm playing Splinter Cell 2 multiplayer almost nonstop, it could possibly be one of the most enjoyable online gaming times I've had, IF it wasn't for cheaters and droppers, and some annoying glitches that shouldn't be there, but other than that, it's f*cking great!

Just bought City of Heroes, even though you have to pay 15 a month to play. Suffice to say, the character creation is one of the most amazing things ever, just.....SO COOL!

Dom: do you really need another major online game :) (what with SC2 and WC#)?

Hehe, well, I've stopped playing SC2 since it's ruined by cheaters, leavers, and glitches, still play lots of WC3 though. :D I've been playing CoH all day, and as it is my first MMORPG, it has taken getting used to, but I'm doing okay, need to find a teammate to help me in the mission I have now, but whatever. As it is a new release though, there are a LOT of bugs. Not sure if my computer is contributing, but it's crashed over 10 times so far, not cool. :( Hopefully it will be fixed soon, luckily, it constantly updates your status and location, so you start off exactly where you were when you crashed, which is very nice. Anyway, back to CoH. :D

bought civIII today. I've not really played one of the civ games before though, and I've got a feeling it'll take me sometime to figure out how to play this thing. The tutorial's crap

I've been playing City of Heroes a lot. Lots of students and instructors at my school play, but they're on a different server than I am, and my character is way too good to move over, anyway, if anyone gets this and is on the Justice server, tell me and you can be my sidekick if you're a lower level than me. :D

I recently rented and played the Vivendi Universal version of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring on PS2, and I was severely dissapointed to say the least, the game was very short for one thing, terribly innacurate, imo, and the ending just plain sucked!

I just finished up Final Fantasy X the other day, and rented Final Fantasy X-2, but I haven't been playing it cause I think I might be burnt out on the series for a while.

I downloaded the Thief III demo last night, and man, is it awesome. I just played through the two levels of the demo, but I can tell it's a great blend of story-telling and stealth gameplay. I'll definitely be picking it up later today.

You can download the demo here or here in case anyone's interested.

People have complained that T3's levels are pretty small compared to T1&2. And apparently it also has performance issues like Deus Ex: Invisible War.

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

I played Elder Scrolls I: Arena many moons ago but missed out on Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. I'm really enjoying Morrowind with its complex immersive style and can see what all the fuss was about. Had a couple of false starts while coming to grips with the game mechanics but my current character is a keeper.

Started playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault again.

I was halfway through, when I lost everything on my computer due to a virus and had to re-install everything. Lost 1000 mp.3 files and all my game save files.

Anyway, Medal of Honor is pretty fun. Not as good as Castle Wolfenstein, but good nonetheless.
