What games are you playing?

Still playing THE BATTLE FOR MIDDLE EARTH and I am well into the evil campaigns. Last night I had a nice surprise, I had a small group of Orcs in Shelob's lair and my mission was to feed Shelob AND kill Frodo and Sam, to recover the ONE RING.

Once I fed a few of my Orcs to the old girl, I COULD CONTROL HER!!! So I commanded a growing number of Orcs, Shelob AND Gollum!!! Killed a few troubesome Elves and then beat the hell out of the Hobbits MWOAH HA HA HAAAAAAA... Love this game. I also have a pet Balrog now.

I think that Helm's Deep is way to easy in Evil Mode, I did it with tones of time left....

James L - If you're enjoynig Hitman, then find Hitman 2 as it's way better. And check out the Splinter Cell series if you haven't already.

I found I prefered Hitman 2 over Hitman 3.... it was such an addictive and fun game. I knew one level so well, that I worked out the fastest route through it and beat it in a few minutes, killing everyone with a single shotgun shot.... after a while though I got bored and traded it in, now I regret doing so

I'm playing Silent Hill 4, World of Warcraft, and Rome: Total War. I love rome, it's so fun sieging cities its just ridiculous. Nothing like lining up a row of onagers with a quazillion archers and letting the city burn to its ashes before you walk a single unit through the crumbling walls... simulated war is fun. Real war bad. Very bad.

Nintendo DS

I've just been playing on the Nintendo DS at my friends house, and to be honest I'm not overly impressed. Sure the graphics are nice, but it's not been ergonimcally designed, and just isn't comfortable to hold.... Anyone else tried it and feel the same? I'm still awaiting the PSP which is going to beat the DS down :D

Its interesting you say that because I thought the same. I love gadgets and I loved my game gear so when I saw the PSP which was very similar in style I felt sure the PSP would beat DS hands down. However the DS is currently outselling the PSP 2:1 prior to European release (of which it seems the DS will be first out the gate). I'm not a big Nintendo fan but fair play they really are highly innovative :) I may get both :D

Er, have you just gained a huge inheritance?! ;)

Having played Dawn of War for a while, I'm back on the Warcraft. The game just keeps dragging you back for more.

A producer from Vicarious Visions (they've done several GBA games and such) came and spoke to us today, and he brought a PSP and I watched someone play it, it was very nice, had a huge screen and great graphics for something so small.....that is all. :)

No but I do have a lot of coppers and 5ps in a jar for 'emergencies' ;)
PSP looks awesome and given I don't move from my computer screen much each day it will be ideal for fitting in a few sneaky sessions at the 'office' :D

Currently I'm playing a bit of Duel Masters Sempai Legends for the PS2 and GBA...... what fun games! :D It probably helps that I like the show

The Sims 2
Half-life 2
FM 2005
Sid Meier's Pirates!

I can't believe how good HL2 looks and runs with the graphics cranked up high! Yet, it's Sims 2 holding my attention this week.

Currently playing;

World of Warcraft
Quake III Arena
Starcraft
Warcraft III
Rome: Total War.

Now that I've finally got another copy of Onimusha Tactics (lost the first one), I'm playing it loads. In fact, I've not played much else for quite some time.... though as soon as I get a PSP that will all change :D

Am still hopelessly addicted to Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and play regularly online every night with Deku. Battle.net is in my opinion the best online gaming server. I've recently finished the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos campaign, which was a lot of fun, and am halfway through the Frozen Throne campaign.

Warcraft aside, I hope to play Icewind Dale II soon (still have a copy of it lurking around on my shelf) and I also hope to re-play Zelda: Wind Waker soon - what a game... :D

I'll be getting Resident Evil 4 when it is released over here. Looks great. :)

Well, I'm about to start playing Everquest 2 (after the updates have finished downloading), and then I hope to review it for the games section.

I also get the first month free :D

Mortal Kombat Deceptions - it is soo addictive I just love the death traps and Smoke, it has Smoke in it *squeals* and Konquest mode is really interesting though now that I have all the 'Koffins' open it's a little boring.

I've taken quite a shining to Ermac too and Puzzle Kombat - how adorable is that (though damn hard at the higher levels even in medium mode).

I've finally gotten into the level 60 blahs in World of Warcraft...only things you can do are:

Run 5 man Scholomance, Strathholme, Lower Blackrock Spire, Upper Blackrock Spire to death with 10-15 people and hope to get loot that you can use.

Do the Onyxia Key quests (currently in the works for my hunter).

Go out and hope to find a likewise minded group of horde and PVP.

Look cool by dueling with other lvl60s in fron of the gates to Ironforge.

Gank lowbies.

meh!

Maybe I'll come down with a serious case of Alt-o-holism :P

Hehe, I'm currently 47 on my main, but I started it like a month later than everyone. :) You'll have plenty to do once they implement Battlegrounds, though that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon.....

Honestly, take your time getting to 60... I was averaging less than 8hrs/lvl from 50-60 (did quests and instances) and once I hit 60, it just got boring. Go to IF, get into raid on strath/scholo/ubrs...rinse and repeat. I'd also try to avoid doing zerg raids on those instances... 2 groups for scarlet side of strath, 2-3 groups for braon in strath, 3 for ubrs. And 2-3 groups for scholo. Anything more = boring...no challenge at all :P

I should have my onyxia lair key tonight or tomorrow night, though. Maybe that might brighten the game a little... "Onyxia takes a deep breath" RUN!
