I can also see Evangeline Lilly as Kahlan.
What about Denna?? I can't figure out who could play her.

I'm sorry but Zedd is my favourite character and to play him, you need to be able to act well, as their are so many dimensions to his character. Therefore, Christopher Lloyd is immediately out of the picture.

Sorry but its a fact all he can do is lightweight comedy. Zedd is so much more than that.

Ok personally i see kahlan with blond hair dont ask me why but still Arya from eragon ( terrible with actor names) would play her perfectly if anyone else good because kahlan is one in a kind , NO russle crow or any one for richard he would look like a goof, i think richard should be someone new, zedds should be a bit gangly/wiry and Darken rahl should be someone bulky and handsome, shota has to be really pretty because she can make herself pretty, and i heard someone before and its true maybe copying LOTF but the gollum guy would be perfect for samuel. demmin nass should be someone huge who would be badass( even ifi hate that guy) if this goes to people like russel crow or anyone and screws the movie, why not make it animated if you have to , mite make it worse but the scenary will be hard to get anyway. i see the princess violet as some winny little orange haired kid and chase as a bulk but not as bulk as a quad member or anything. has to be atheletic and strong to be him though cause all those weopens will be crazy heavy for the badass. anyhow argue or agree to this or just build. i think this and eragon will both be sister books cause the movies or tv shows or wat ever will screw them up, i still want to see them though( WFR and series are the best ive read) ....... and thomas covenant if u have patience with the book.

Kahlan should doesnt need to be strong shes a confessor, why everyone saying she needs a sword she caries a knife which has no potential weight to it even if its long. but yea seriously look up the girl who played arya for eragon die her hair the right colour/color ( spelt different in places) she has some potential for the beautiful features of kahlan but can look threatening to. she is better then most, who said angelina for her that is dumb.. and dianna has to have a wiry look to her with her braids , i think angelina cool and all but her lips dont look all to , torturing maybe arywin or w.e the elf is from Lord of the rings or something, rember mord siths are exposed to have been really nice and pretty before broken.. i dont no if she could play it though.. well tell me what you think

those are all really good but i think that zed would be a bit more well wiry or something.. maybe liam neson or the guy who played gandalf ( i no it would be weird seeing him again but he would be good)

Damn!! After I had read all the comments on this thread, I would post that link to show all a very good cast list. But, you stole my idea
I really like this cast list too. Christian Bale as Richard is indeed good. I am a Bale fan too. But that doesn't matter.

But you are all, all of you wrong (except one I think said the truth).:

There isn't any, ANY, on this planet that can be Kahlan to a movie or TV Serie. Nope! She is just too beautiful to be true. Too special. Too rare! I mean, think about it. Rischard himself have hard time to express himself, to tell her how fine looking she is.

I have just a perfect picture of her when I read. And yet, I cannot see her fully. It's like she is foggy to me and I can only see parts of her. She is that beautiful. Too good to be true!!
And as one said... I see her in this white dress to have blond hair too. I just cannot picture her with brown hair.

If you think I picture Bale you are wrong. I picture him like he looks like on the cover of the book. The one he sitting on the dragon Scarlet. His simile there!! Ohh darn!! THAT IS Richard! But Kahlan on the pic......NO WAY! Too errr, yes I would say ugly!
But Bale would do good ... I think that!


In a way... I hope not they make a movie of the WFR. But at the same time I doo. And I think Peter Jackson, actully, would be the best man! Other directors would surely ruin the story more than him.
Of course he cannot bring the 'brilliant way' as Terry do! But maybe close! LotR isn't exactly bad. He is the man for the job; to master this Fantasy feeling he do!

And to all...:

This SoT serie is the best story that Ever have been done!!! And it will be never defeted. Richard and Kahlan will allways stand on the top and slash all other works (books) that will try to climp over it This comes from my true bottom of my heart!! Damn I am truly most grateful at this unbeatable and truly beauty story Terry has given to us. He must have like 300 in IQ.

ps. Sure I will hear maybe a few that say I am crazy and will count up other works and try to convince me to tell I was wrong. But I don't care about that. I know this is True! And I believe in Richard!

ohh about Zedd

To try to find one actor to play him could be very hard. Can't you all remember that he is very skinny??

Before I had read WFR I had seen the Anime Movie:
Ninja Scroll

Then when I started to read it... and came to the Zedd - part... it was like; this is him -- more or less -- but this is really him! Who? You might wounder. This guy, from the Anime Movie. Call me nuts! But this is really Zedd I picture when I read -- more or less -- of course not exact like him.

And ofc it is only around this guys behavior too. But one thing is sure! See this Movie and look when this guy becomes angry. That is really Zedd when he is kinda pissed off in the books!
