I too am underwhelmed by the Veidt storyline.

Same here, but yes, enjoying the rest. I think my favourite character is Laurie Blake played by Jean Smart - some of her deadpan lines are great!

No worries. It is very good, you just have to put up with some of the pretentious, rich (as in very wealthy) characters - all part of the show though!

Only one episode left. Probably the right decision to keep it tight at 9 episodes a season.

Like the new forum look. I'm watching a couple of not-highest-tier series at the moment:

Emergence - your basic 'mysterious child with powers turns up being hunted by government agents'. I've watched the first couple of episodes and it's keeping me interested.

In other news... I have finally managed to engage with The Expanse and am rattling through Season Two... my current binge watch.

It’s a really good show! I think Season 3 is the best, but haven’t started on Season 4 yet, it might be better. They mostly stick to real-world physics and science (except where blue glowing stuff is involved).

I struggled through Season One.... really wanted to like it, but was pretty bored (and remember that I loved the books!) But Season Two is picking up speed, and I understand it keeps getting better. I'm seeing a lot of love for Season Four at the moment.

I'm about to start episode 11. It is picking up speed, but it's also still kind of dull and sentimental. I'm am amazed this is a faithful adaptation of a bestselling book series. It's just not anywhere near great so far and this is supposed to be the contents of the first two novels?

In my opinion, it really picks up from Season 2, Episode 2. Am now up to Season 2, Episode 7.
