Thanks Leiali. Less of the 'old' though...if my memory serves me well, there's only 10 days in it ;) Thanks also for letting me know about this place...i'm having a great time and I haven't even started talking about books yet!

Welcome one and all, welcome. I hope you all enjoy your visit but remember we have a few important rules around here.
1) Never feed the locals.
2) Always agree with much fervor if Calazar talks about how great the Malazan books are.

And remember that Moderator worship is an accepted practice, so don’t forget to grovel before a moderator a least once during your visit.

Have a nice day,
The Management

Feel free to grovel before the Big E.....although it's really not necessary....a pitiful look gets you just as far!

Okay, back on topic now......and my goodness, there are so many new faces! Be sure to check out all the forums......there are great discussions going in everywhere you look.

Yes welcome everyone.

Off topic: Snake, 2 days ago I would not have known what an "Interloper" was. But thanks to a story of the same name I now know.

Yes, there was no point to that.

some people have mentioned books?

El Diablo

Hello and welcome El Diablo.

You've got it there, this site is mostly about books, even when it starts off as nothing to do with books, someone mentions one at some point! Enjoy browsing - I shan't recommend a particular area as they are all so good!

:)

See there you have it folks, people talking about books that talk about people who talk about books.

We must stop this before books are mentioned again!

Thanks,
The Management
;)

Welcome eldiablo.....I recommend you check out the twin forum, the Funzone (old Playroom). Lots of madness there, as well as a pub and coffeehouse.

Signed,
BigE, the Power behind the Management:cool:

See that? She refers to herself as "Big E" not "E-berry" That goes to show my amazing nick-name skills.

The funzone is chaos, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

O, right, welcom el_diablo. I have a hill on my street named after you.

Signed,
Frostie, the REAL Power behind the Management

Welcome el_diablo :)

This site is really for for getting criminals rehabilitated ;)

Signed,
Snake, the overlord of the forums:cool:

Hello all! The name's JP but you can call me knivesout. The SF section here looks to be fairly alive, so I'm sure to check in there a bit, although I shall probably crawl across to the fantasy section from time to time. :D

Greetings, knives out, good to have you with us.
(Pay no attention to snake, he has delusions of grandeur.)

While you're sliding from one section to another, be sure to get over to the Funzone for coffee, or something stronger.
