Common courtesy suggests I drop by and say hello. I've been visiting these forums for a long time, just keeping up with news and such, and remembered I registered years back and thought I'd try and log-in and was successful. Then I got my name changed 'cause I didn't like the original one. So now I can add my two cents worth when feel like it.

Guess I posted hellow in the wrong forum. My name is John, 30 years old Five kiddos, two dogs, and a wife. I live in Houston Texas. I currently work in the oil field running navigational equipment on directional wells.

Like I said in the other post, writing and world domination are my passions. Thanks Sid. If it weren't for the world domination, I could get a lot more written.

I've had a couple of short stories published, and my first novel, Demon Daze, was recently released from cyberpulpbooks.com
 
Hello everyone. I have been browsing this forum quite a bit as of late and thought I'd finally introduce myself. My name is Mark, I'll be 30 years old next week...ugh, and I make my home in New Jersey. I'm an avid reader of fantasy, sci/fi and such, and I finally broke into the writing world as of late. I have a novel being released by EQ books within the next week or so, it's called The Unattainable Redemption. Anyways looking forward to chatting with you all.

Thanks Snake and Eldanuumea. In answer to your question Snake, its none as of yet. Its avaiable for pre order at www.equilibriumbooks.com. Hopefully I'll be able to make a few bucks from it when its released, we shall see.
 
;hey there....my names erin and im 16 and from australia...i love reading and have just read almost 6 of the sparhawk set of david eddings fantasy books >.<....i mainly read murder mysteries and fantasy i guess but ill have a go at anything...id love to write but im thinking i dont have the talent :(...my bf has a great imagination and is starting to write now so lets see where that goes...anyways nice to be here ill watch with interest the forums and see wat books u guys recommend O_o;

erin, I think age is rather unimportant. I wouldn't call you a baby. But... if you want to know my age, I am 42. (The answer to life the universe and everything...) :)

hello to all members. i am a new member and just joined up several days ago. i've been hanging around the science-fiction section of this forum until I discovered this.

briefly, I am an author. Wrote one book so far, called Red Stars. Its a 352 page military and fantasy scifi that came out in Dec. 2003.
Currently working on my second one called "DDG" for now. I am looking forward to further discussions of favorite books, current reads and talking to fellow writers from around the world.

hey gregg...as you can see im erin >.<....i wish i could put all the things in myhead onto paper...it might scare people though...this is a great site...i read heaps and so it was such a bonus finding it...anyways look forward to reading your book...
