Sorry, I missed this thread :o. I've already made a couple of posts in the fantasy and science-fiction forums.

Hi, I'm Literbug (it's a play on 'literature' and 'litterbug'. Seemed like a good idea at the time. :o)

I recently moved from Tasmania to Canberra, leaving family and friends behind, which has been a very isolating experience, but given me much more time to read and post on discussion boards :). I'm scratching my way through the last semester of a law degree and next year will start work with The Department of Veterans' Affairs.

My tastes in reading are quite varied. I loved science-fiction and fantasy as a teenager but when I started university, I got the impression I was now too mature for it :rolleyes:. I've recently returned to sf and fantasy after reading George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series and loving it :D. My favourite books would be The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon.

Welcome Literbug,

Glad to have you around. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Hi everybody, I am really looking forward to some stimulating discussions on this board! Glad to be aboard.
I've been reading SFF for thirty years, started with Lord of the Rings way back in High School. Been hooked ever since. Love a good story but most especialy am into historical fantasy. Books such as E. Moon's 'the Deed of Paksonarrion' list very high on my favorite's list.
See you around the forum...........Laz.

Hi everyone. I've already made a few posts on the fantasy forums before noticing this intro bit. (Doh!) I've been hovering around the forum for a few weeks and thought the standard was a good bit higher than the many "Predator could kick Sauron's behind" type forums out there. I look forward to hopefully joining some cool debates.

Gosh there are a lot of new folks around here! Great to have you all, welcome to one of the really top-notch forums around!

Oops.

Hi. I'm Expendable but you can call me Ex. I'm used to Ex. You've probably seen me posting in the other forums, especially the writing.

I like to read, write and draw. My favs are mysteries, fantasy and science fiction, but I also love anime and collect anime music videos. I also collect dictionaries. v.v;

Bit of an infomaniac, sowwie.:D

anyway, I thought maybe I should say hi or something....

Hi.

Welcome Ex. I I don't think I have seen you post, probably as I am too scared to go into the writers forum, I stick to Fantasy, Sci Fi, and TV & Film! I hope you enjoy the forum, which I am sure, if you love the various genres on display, you will!
