Okay no real order, but I'm just gonna type the first 10 that come to mind as potential favorites...

1. Amelie
2. Before Sunrise or Dazed and Confused. Something from Linklater.
3. Gattaca
4. Midnight in Paris (Damnit if this isn't the most delightful movie).
5. Spirited Away or Nausicaa. Or Ratatouille. Something to represent how much I love animation.
6. Lost in Translation
7. The Darjeeling Limited (This is the most underappreciated Wes Anderson imho, but I guess a few of them could be here).
8. Withnail and I
9. The Two Towers - Still in awe of Jackson's adaptations. It was quite an achievement.
10. Adaptation maybe, or Eternal Sunshine - Charlie Kaufman needs to be on my top 10.

Not real big on "super-serious drama" as you can see. Idiosyncratic comedies are pretty much where I live.

OK, my turn. No especial order.

A Man for All Seasons
Blade Runner
Sunshine
Pride and Prejudice
Das Boot
Downfall
Casablanca
Dances with Wolves
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (1979 TV version)
The Godfather - all 3 parts

I'm a great fan of the old swashbucklers, so the first two in my top 10 are:
The Sea Hawk (starring Errol Flynn)
The Black Swan (starring Tyrone Power)
I'm also a great fan of Robin Hood, and the best Robin Hood film is
The Adventures of Robin Hood (starring Errol Flynn)
Casablanca is an all time classic
and so is The African Queen
Passport to Pimlico is probably the best of the Ealing Comedies
The Vikings (starring Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis)
A Matter of Life and Death (starring David Niven) is one of my favourite Second World War films, and the other is
Ice Cold in Alex (starring John Mills)

What can I say? I like the real old stuff!

Apart from the first one, no particular order.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly
Conan The Barbarian
Star Wars
LOTR
Terminator
Total Recall
Back to the Future
Apocalypse Now
Blade Runner
Inglorious Basterds
