I don't know if this is a film or a book, but I always remember hearing the line "seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness." in it.
I forget where I heard it, apart from John Keats' poem "Ode to autumn."

I remember watching this movie about an alien that turns into a liquid form and then takes the shape of other people. In the movie it gets into/(out of?) an underground bunker i think. The start of the movie shows a person interrogating a soldier tied to a chair. The soldier tells the story of what happened, then the person interrogating realizes the soldier must be the alien. it then escapes down a road or something? I think at one point they detonate a nuke underground to kill the alien but it survives.
I really want to figure out what movie this is because it is one of the few where the bad guy wins in the end.
It's definitely not The Thing, I've seen that one a few times.
I think the alien was also sensitive to radiation, at one point they had radioactive pellets in cases and one of the people sacrificed themselves by using radiation to try and stop the alien.

I only remember the basic premise which had a man locked in an apartment with a large TV screen that displayed a man’s head (kind of like Big Brother from 1984). The man on the screen would terrorize the man in the apartment, in order to get him to stop smoking. By the end, the man has broken his smoking habit, but the screen comes on again and says ‘now’s let’s discuss your caffeine habit’. Any ideas?

Was there a cat in it? I always remember the Stephen King film with three or so stories connected by a cat. One of them was about a radical 'stop smoking' program. That one involved cutting off one of his wife's fingers.
You're thinking of the movie Cat's Eye. I read the description of Cat's Eye a couple of years ago and was sure I had found the right movie. But when I watched it (I think the whole movie was on YouTube), it turned out to not be the movie I was remembering. Good guess though!

Looking for a tv show
I have been looking for a television show, although not actively searching as I had almost nothing to go off. I believe it is from the 90s and is British.
Tonight I came across something someone had posted on another forum, which was this:
"Here's another one. Does anyone remember a British show that aired on the ABC back in the 90's that was about a castle/old building on an island (or the coast), and the crazy woman who lived there. She was obsessed with these four gems, one of which was a ruby and another was an amethyst, and the strange contraption that they powered (and snapped the hand off of whoever tried to open it without the gems.)
And there were barrels of toxic waste littered along the coast. And a sequence with snorkling."
This sounds like what I am looking for. All I had was a gem or stone in the middle of metal medieval looking sphere with pointy bits of metal sticking out everywhere. It was in some kind of cavern.
I hope this hasn't already been requested. I did search through half of this thread, but gave up because it is late.
Any more information or a title would be greatly appreciated, thanks

The ONLY thing I remember about is a world was divided in two ... half in the light and half in dark .... kept apart by a giant wall, I assume going all the way around the planet.

along time ago, must have been in 1977-78 or so, I saw a TV movie (I think it was kind of 45 minute or so) about a man whose body was replaced by proesthetic/robotic parts. Even half his brain. Then, the company that hold sold all these sued him, demanding the parts back becaus he hadn't paid the bills. Much of the movie was a courtroom scene trying to sort out this mess. Was he going to be left with only half his brain at the end? As far as I remember, he was a car racer, that was the reason for him going through these accidents that destroyed most of his body. I think it was based on an Isac Asimov short. And, no, it is NOT Bicentenial Man I am thinking, and not Robocop. But would could it be? Anyone have any idea?

80's-ish Sci-Fi movie
Hey, hope someone can help me with this, I watched this as a kid and have spent a ton of time trying to find it.
Here's what I remember: the movie was set on another planet, think it was a mining colony. The main character's father was on a spaceship that they thought was lost, but at some point they find out that the people running the colony had actually found it. I remember that the main character was part of some kind of rebellion or something, and that there's these school children that they have to keep safe or rescue or something. There's a couple scenes that really stand out, one is on this huge dumptruck driving around the mining pit and there's this robot/android thing (it's a friend of the main character) that gets it's legs caught in a rope and falls off the truck and smashes into the side. Another scene is towards the end, everyone's on the spaceship and there's these bad droids trying to kill them (kind of look like they're wearing football helmets), and this woman has to enter a code in this keypad in the good droid's head to unlock it's "battle mode" or something. In the very end, the good guys are all on the spaceship and it's taking off vertically (like VTOL) and they have to crash through a bunch of bay doors going up to get out. I think they were all trying to get back to Earth.
This is driving me nuts, hope someone responds to this...

No, that's not it, mine wasn't quite as cheesy and it basically all took place on the planet, no space battles or anything till they take off at the very end. Thanks for trying though!

AHAH! I found it! It's called "Starship" or "Lorca and the Outlaws", made in 1984 Directed by Roger Christian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starship_(film)
I KNEW the name was Starship or something like it, I just kept getting thrown off because every time I searched it would only come up with Starship Troopers
Not a bad movie, you guys should check it out! Kinda funny, looking it up just now I found out it has Deep Roy in it (The guy who played the Oompaloompas in the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp) lol!love motion

I remember as a kid watching a movie on TV, during the 90s that seemed to be a cross between an action movie and a comedy, It had a female lead pretty sure, and probably was set in the future after some post apocalyptic setting. I only remember it because the female lead had a fight scene where her pants got ripped and you could see her panties -_- they were white with a yellow smiley face.
