70's or 80's cartoon/live action movie

I remember sneaking in to watch a movie my older brothers were watching as a child. I was born in the mid 80's so I'm assuming it was an 80's movie. I remember it having live action but a majority of it was cartoon. Definitely had an adult vibe to it. There were characters on a quest against the nemesis who used crows (in the live action parts) to plant nightmares in people while they slept. I remember something important having to do with a clock. And maybe something about the animated characters slipping through a live action sewer drain. Ring any bells?

There are two I was thinking of, one with Lauren Hutton and Jim Carrey called Once Bitten and another with Leslie Nielsen called Dracula: Dead and Loving it. Does this jog the memory.

By any chance do you mean Dark Shadows a Johnny Depp Vampire movie from a couple of years ago set in the 1970's or the British TV show of the same name from the Seventies it was based on?

The Last Passenger Pigeon

Here is a tough one. I tried for a while tonight but came up empty. Back in the late seventies or early eighties I watched an American tv movie about the last passenger pigeon or maybe some other extinct North American bird. It was an animated film (cartoon) that followed one of the remaining free passenger pigeons trying to survive. Can you help find this hidden gem?

A friend of mine is looking for a short film. I am drawing a blank on this. Can anyone shed some light.

It is post-apocalyptic, modern ice-age kind thing. Filmed in and around Montreal. About a woman and her dog trying to survive. I don't have much more to go on.

I've been trying for years to remember the name of an animated tv show I saw an episode or two of in the 90s. It scared the crap out of me. All I remember was that it was about a little girl who lived with her grandmother, and there was a swirly black and white portal that went to hell or something. The animation style is sort of similar to Invader Zim, but with a more orange/red palette. I'd be super grateful if anyone can tell me what show this is. Thanks!!!

Need a name

I need help finding the name of a movie I watched a few times on the scifi channel in the 90s. I have done every search imaginable and can't find it. Its driving me nuts. I believe it was a made for TV or scifi original. Its about a dark haired high school kid who is a little awkward and his science/hippy parents don't help. They live someplace like Arizona/new mexico. He starts noticing odd things about himself. And the house gets overrun with plants. His parents (or was it just his mother) kind of turn into plantlike airborne dust things and freak him out. They tell him they 'changed' him to help mankind evolve and survive in earths changing environment. He can't get sunburned or dehydrated. There was an altercation at school, a bunch of guys chained him up to a monument and left him to roast in the sun. His 'girl' found and saved him. I think it ends with them driving off into the desert together, while the girl gets sunburned...

What is this Movie?

Fairly recently made movie (I think, least based on the quality of the production) I watched about 3 months ago and really enjoyed it.

It was about a mission to Jupiter with a 2 man crew who were going to have to slingshot around Venus first. But prior to getting to Venus, the sleeping capsule was destroyed and one of the crew members was killed. The two crew members were a white guy and a black guy. The white guy died, leaving the black guy alone with only mission control helping him adjust the ship to make the maneuver around Venus. He was stuck on board..I think it was 2 years in a small space, alone. Once he got back near, he jettisoned the dead crew member to the surface. He decided to continue on to Jupiter, alone in the ship though. End of movie.

I thought it was a very good job by the lead actor, who had nothing more than an empty capsule to work with; yet he maintained the drama, suspense and sense of isolation, and you come to admire the astronaut stuck in that type of situation.

Yet, I can't recall the name of this movie now. Help please. I want to add this to my library.

What is the cartoon called?

Alright, so I think I have a really good one here and worth the inquiry. Problem is is that I can't remember hardly anything about this cartoon/movie except one thing. I saw this in the mid to late '90s as a toddler, and I believe it was in sort of a medieval setting. This one particular scene I vaguely remember shows a medieval society of kings, queen(s), and townsfolk as a bunch of talking heads. No joke, a bunch of talking heads. All lined up in several rows stacked high (as a visual aid, picture cryogenic heads stacked on shelves in Futurama), and they're just communicating to one another. That's all I can honestly remember. Any clues? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Erm....

my english is not really that good.... And i need more clue and info... or some parts... examples... dodging bullets like a boss... matrix .. wanted...

Name Of TV Show Or Mini Series With Talking Painting

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and would like to say "Thank You" in advance for any light that can be shed on this...

Does anyone remember this show??? This one may prove to be a challenge, at least it has been for me. I have searched and searched but cannot find this show... I don't remember the name of it either. Way back in the late 60's or maybe it was the 70's, when I was a youngster growing up in South Carolina there was this show, or mini series (not sure which). I believe it may have been some sort of Supernatural Drama show. I want to say the word "Masterpiece" MAY have been part of the title, but don't know for sure. I have always remembered it that way for whatever reason. it was Around the same time Dark Shadows was being aired in my area of the U.S.

My parents wouldn't let me watch Dark Shadows because they didn't want me to have bad dreams. This show seemed to be sort of like it, (not sure if it had vampires) and I don't think they had figured that out yet, so I was able to get away with watching it for a while. Many, many times, my Father would walk in the den and just change the channel to what he wanted to watch (he had a bad habit of doing this).... so I never was able to see too much of the show at any given episode.

I do remember that it had a (large ?) Painting of a man holding a Brandy Glass or Wine Glass, if memory serves... There was a man who would go into the room where this painting was, and the painting would talk to this man... I think it was "HAUNTING" him. I think he may have killed the man in the painting but I'm not sure... I think they MAY HAVE been related. At one point in the series, the man stabbed the painting, I guess because it was driving him insane, and the painting began to BLEED.

I sure would like to be able to find this show and watch the whole series.

Umbrella tree

Everyone thinks I am crazy, but I know this is a show! I remember it was a kid's show on either the Disney channel or Nickelodeon. It was around the 80's. The same time as care bears, pound puppies, adventures of the gummi bears, and eureeka's castle. back then. anyway, it was NOT animated, i think it was puppets and real people. Ok I remember at least one parrot. They lived in a house and they could talk like real people. i remember like a stair railing and a picture of a tree in the opening sequence. Ring any bells? They lived in this lady's house i think. please let me know if you know what i am talking about!! thanx!

If I'm right it may be Under the umbrella Tree.
