Movie Help

okay so I've been trying to remamber this movie for years now n I've searched through all the horse movie directories on line and I can't seem to find it.
The movie began in the country on a horse farm and starts of with a girl and her boyfriend who is a farm hand on the farm. The girl is unhappily sent away to boarding school by her father. In the next seen she comes back from school a few years older with her new city boyfriend. Her father/gaurdian has passed away and she's left to try to save the horse farm. I don't remember all the details but I remember that they were looking for someone to jockey their horse in the upcomming race and one of the farm hands mentions that her father/gaurdian had kept her jockey license up to date while she was away, which enables her to ride the horse in the race. She also ends up ditching the city boyfriend for her old boyfriend who is still at the farm.
I'm pretty sure that the movie aired on the disney channel but I could be mistaken. It was the late 80's or 90's when it aired.
I appreciate any help anyone can provide to shed light on the movie.

The movie ur thinking about is A kid in Aladin's palace I think. It has Thomas Ian Nicholas in it as the main character Calvin Fuller. There was also a previous movie called A kid in King Arthur's Court that dealt with the same character. Hope this helps

There was a not so pretty girl with big unattractive glasses, curly hair...an aunt who was a waitress. She worked on a farm/horse range place. The main guy in the film trained up a "snobby" blonde girl who would win the ribbons at the dressage horse shows etc but then this snobby girl quits on the trainer....thus starts the love story betwean the not so pretty girl and the trainer when she decides to try out to be in the horse show...she ends up getting a makeover and they fall for eachother...

i cant remember any more...the way its made sorta makes m think of those mid day movies...that sorta feel.

it may have been a canadian film...or american...of the 80's...maybe 70's but i reckon 80's...

its a long shot but thought i'd give it a go and ask!!!

I think the movie ur thinking of is Horses and Champions, the plot sounds about right but it was made in 1994 so it may not be the one ur looking for.

Here's a couple more that I can't seem to recall the names of. There was this one cartoon in the mid-90s that had this secret agent-like dude who was always fighting against this mad doctor in this metal suit with a ponytail and a mustache that had no skin over his abdominal area, only glass, so you could see his guts, it had live action scenes too before and after the cartoon. I'm thinking maybe it was the cartoon series of Action Man before it became computer animated, but I might be wrong.
I also remember in the early 90s on Fox on Saturday morning there was this cartoon with marionette like-puppets that was very much in the style of the old Thunderbirds series. Also, there was a series on Fox on Saturday mornings when the Power Rangers craze had just hit, there were other such series such as VR Troopers, Big Bad Beetleborgs, and the Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad, only this one was about this dude who was a lone wolf and wore an armored suit with an insectoid motif. Like I said, it was live action, and was very much like the Power Rangers and all those others. Any help? :o

I'm trying to remember a film i saw when i was younger, but i can't remember the name. Can anyone help?

What i think i remember about the film is some astronaunt or space man gets sent back in time after his space shuttle spins round the earth too many times. He ends up in some medievil time in England.

He meets a princess and falls for her, and enters a jousting competition on a horse to impress her. I think the film was made around 1960s-1970s so its quite old, but it was in color.

anyone know the film i mean?
 
I need help recalling a movie

The film would have been from the 1980's I think.

Storyline :

Two tiny U.F.O.'s land on the roof of an old building (somewhere in a big US city ) . The female U.F.O is pregnant and pops out a couple of baby U.F.O.'s (one of the babies is really weak and barely makes it ). On the ground floor of this building , an old couple runs a diner and they discover the tiny spacecraft.
The building is scheduled to be demolished to make way for big skyscrapers (or a big mall , I don't know for sure).
The old folks don't want to sell the house but cannot stop the distuction.
One day they find there building in ruins . But no worries, the tiny spaceship helped the folks ( with friend and family spacecraft) and rebuild the house.
In the end the old folks get to keep the house and the skyscrapers were build next to the house ( the only small building surrounded by concrete giants ) .

One scene I remember in detail: The floor in the buildinghall was made out of a beautiful mozaïek and one of the baby spacecraft ( I think the one that barely made it after birth) was putting the last pieces together.

I hope someone remembers the title so I can watch it again.

i have been trying to remember the name of this tv seres for so long that i think my head is going to blow. i don't remember much about it. i remember that it was a non-animated kids show on ether nik or disiny, and it had a very lost in space feel to it. there was a girl in it named Saturn, i think, and her hair was all the colors but it was striped horizontally instead of vertically. I also remember that she had an imaginary friend but the switched half way through the seres and her imaginary friend became real and she became imaginary. if anyone knows this seres PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE tell me.

I can't remember the name of a cartoon that aired here in Australia a few years back now (on Cartoon Network, I believe). The main character was a wrestler, dressed (I think) in blue. His name, I think, was Kid <something>. He got his power by farting, if I recall correctly (yes, weird, I know), and the villains were all kinds of odd. Donut heads and so forth. It had a real campy tone to it, with the main character always throwing his butt around and presenting it at every opportunity. It's not that old, but I can't for the life of me remember it.

He was forever eating, and masked. He lived in his father's shadow, and they had tournaments all the time - where he would be beaten to a pulp till he finally used his latent ass power (or whatever the hell it was).

Was it Kid <something>? Help me out!!
 
Hi all.

Trying to remember an old TV show or movie. Pretty sure it was in black and white, but then it was before colour TV down here so it may have been colour. Anyway, the scene I always remember involved a medalion or locket around someones neck, and when it was removed they turned to dust. They could have been aliens although I recall they appeared human. Probably somewhere between 1969 and 1974.
 
Princess & frog??

Ok i've been trying to remember the title of this movie for a while now. I don't remember much about it at all. I just remember this girl talking to this "frogman" outside this castle (maybe?) and i think she kissed him and he turned into the frogman or she kisses him and he's just a regular man but...i think there was some singing and the frog man falls in love with her? Or maybe he was cursed to be a frogman? This a non-animated movie.

oh and i watched this when i was younger so probably late 80's early 90's movie?

i am stumped :(

The movie was a bout a group of kids living in London, the movie was about how they partied and went to clubs and did "e"

There were like 5 or six in the group of friends, there were there were like 2 white kids and one of them had an old crappy car and worked at a sports-store, one black kid who worked at a record-store and ppl came to him to buy the latest rap tracks and stuff. And there were like 3 white girls.

At the end one of them(the kid with the old car) tells the rest of the group that his done drinking and doing drugs. and they all go, "sure..." and that more or less how the movie ends.

wierd puppet series

Hi I've been trying to find the name an animated puppet shown in the UK in the late 80's or early 90's all the bad guys had eye patches with a creature on them a scorpian I think. The good guy were try to protect some kind of powerful girl with a pet!

I need help with a cartoon movie

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of this movie that I watched when I was little. It was around 1990 when I watched it, but I think it was older than that. Since I was only about 4 years old I don't remember much.
The scene that I remember was about an orphaned puppy, cocker spaniel I think, that lived with a drunken (?) old homeless man that had a heart attack one rainy cold night.

I Need Help Remebering The Name Of A Tv Show

I really need help trying to remember the name of a TV show from the early 1990's. :confused: It came on late at night/early morning. It had to do with a plane that crashed on an island. There were survivors. The island is inhabited by natives/indians who blend in to the surrouondings and come out and take the survivors and keep them captive. I think at one point the capture a young man, who does something and they make him king of the tribe. he ends up letting the survivors go. This is about all I can remember...it was a long time ago. :)

I know this sounds a lot like LOST, but it isn't. If anyone knows the name of the TV show you can help put my mind at rest. :D
