ORIGINALLY POSTED BY CARMICHAEL: Oh, and Rocketsheep, I still have no intention of asking about the rocket. . . But, I do wanna know, whatsa dag?
Oh dear... well, I suppose being half polite on the net is still a rare thing.
Sheep are shorn completely in the warmer weather but six months later the wool around their bottoms grows long and they have to be brought in for crutching... er... short back and sides in the er... nether regions to get rid of the dags... clots of wool and dung. At this time of year when sheep run... they rattle.
Spawning the colourful phrase... Come on, rattle yer dags! Which means, hurry up.
Hey, you asked. Oh, and if someone from downunder calls you a dag... it is a friendly term meaning funny, jokey, etc.
And welcome, Tanith! Daggy joke!
